Today begins the first of many lasts; your last week at Village Green.

That's right, it's the last Monday that your faces will be seen

in these halls. Unless you visit, which would be kind of cool.

You're welcome to come back next year and visit your old school.

Because it is the last week of school, I'm taking some things away

like Morning Work, and Spelling tests, and of course, your PDA.

The grand experiment is over. Your handheld fun must end.

To paraphrase from a BAD movie, "Say goodbye to your little friend!"

It's the last time I'll yell for not recharging, or leaving your handheld at home.

And in just a few days, you'll finally read the last of these silly poems.
