Progress reports go home today. Do you think you are prepared?

Relax. Many of you managed to get your "broken" grades repaired.

Math has come up. Reading, too. They really look pretty good.

I'm happy to say you have improved (I always knew you COULD).

But keep in mind one little thing; the school year is not done.

And your grades could plummet, once again, if you resort to having fun

instead of concentrating on your work and doing the best you can.

That scenario you don't want. It is full of problems you should avoid.

Not the least of these problems is that your teacher gets annoyed!

So, continue to work hard on your Morning Work, your Reading, and your Math.

And your grades will continue to rise and you'll continue to avoid my wrath.

I'll smile all day and, you never know, you may even get recess!

I'm not saying there won't be ANY homework, but it's possible there will be less!

Birds will sing, children will laugh, we may get some much needed rain.

Yes, our world will be one happy little place - unless your grades drop down again!
