There's a spot way back in your minds (the place teachers dare not tread),

where Spring Break has already started; it's vacation in YOUR head.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but someone has to say

you still have to go to school this week. At least for four more days!

You ask, "How much can happen in four days?" Well, let there be no doubt,

by the time this Thursday rolls around, you'll be dying to get out!

Every day, there's Morning Work. We'll have tests and reports to do.

The Health projects must be finished and the Young Author's rough draft, too!

Social Studies! Science! Math and Math some more!

I'm going to stuff five days of work into the next four!

And when this week is over, you'll get a week of rest.

Which is good, because when you get back, you have more Benchmark Tests.
