Monday. A new beginning. A new week has its dawn.

Five days of possibility await, so stifle that sleepy yawn.

We'll study new chapters in Social Studies, about a time when our nation was new.

In Science, it's volcanoes and earthquakes (Chapter 7, Lesson 2).

Of course the Morning Work is new, and many of the centers have changed.

We also have two new computers and I think some seating will be rearranged.

New stories in Reading! New problems in Math! In Language, new tales to write!

In Homeworkopoly, there will be new prizes (just giving tickets didn't seem right).

Everything is new and exciting. I'm sure you're all THRILLED to be back.

But, with all these new things there's one problem, you still have the same old Mr. Mac.
