I know there are 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in each day.

But if that's true, why did THIS week seem so long, anyway?

Five long days of Morning Work, but wait, that isn't so.

We didn't have Morning Work one day and still the week went slow.

We took some tests (there's more today) but we do that every week.

We even had a break and watched the Spelling Bee, and STILL I'm tired and weak.

You listened to me lecture. You worked inside your groups.

We worked on Math and Science, and I have to say "I'm pooped!"

It has been since before Christmas that we had five school days in a row.

Could I do it again next week? I really just don't know!

Thank goodness we have Monday off. Thank you Dr.King!

On Tuesday, I will be recharged, thanks to the rest three days can bring.

The only salvation that I have, as I feel my temples throb,

is when I see the beaten-down look in your eyes, I know I've done my job!
