You have been back for one whole day and judging from what I hear,

everyone is counting the days until the next vacation's here!

But maybe I misunderstood you. When I heard "Whew! This day's too long!"

What that person really said was "School? Hooray! Let's sing a song!"

At first, I could not believe my ears. It sounded like "Mr. Mac is such a fool!"

But, looking back, it MAY have been "It's so good to be back in school!"

That's probably it. My hearing has gone. What sounded like complaints and groans,

were really just comments about how good you feel, not having to stay at home.

I thought I heard someone mumble "Mr. Mac is a boring jerk."

Probably, though, what really was said was "We're back. Where's our Morning Work ?"

Frankly, I now feel a bit better. But there's one thing I have left to do.

How can I turn "Mr. Mac is a no-good, mean, yelling, nasty, rotten, funny-smelling, goofy-looking, old, gray-haired, NOT FUNNY, homework-giving, bad teaching, wrinkly old bum!" into "Good Morning Mr. Mac. How are you?"
