I was going to mess with your heads today and change things up bit.

Instead of a poem, I made up a rebus, and you would decipher it.

But just as "the best laid plans of mice and men oft times go astray"

the school's Internet server interfered and the firewall got in my way.

Today was going to be "Catch-up" day and the picture from Heinz would have rocked!

But, when I went to download it, wouldn't you know, it was blocked!

My surprise was exceeded only by extreme disappointment.

Why is the school board worried about pictures of condiments?

Oh well, it doesn't matter. It's a problem to work through.

I have a quick solution; I'll give the work to you!

Finish up your Morning Work, study for your Spelling test,

then make up your own rebus ( I know the artwork might not be the best).

Write a secret message using pictures instead of words.

And don't let the authorities find out, if you use ketchup or mustard!
