Well, you made it to your field trip (I assume you all came back).

All the time you were gone, I'm sure you were worried about Mr. Mac.

What was he doing? Was he lonely? I'll bet he really missed us!

All I can say is, "Did you see my smile as you were getting on the bus?"

I actually had a good day planned. I hoped to play some golf.

But first, I had some things to do (after I had seen you off).

I started to grade some papers, which is where the trouble began.

By the time I reached your Math tests, let's just say SOMETHING hit the fan!

I plan to discuss the results of your test, with each one of you.

As for the grades, I honestly don't know what I'll do.

They're bad. Real bad. So very bad. The worst you've ever done.

They are so bad, I had to stop before I graded every one.

You made foolish mistakes that I warned you about, for example in area it's units SQUARED!

I didn't think you would dare make that mistake again, yet many of you dared!

There were silly errors in addition and measuring (which is really just counting the lines).

These were not due to lack of knowledge, but caused by not taking your time.

Which is very interesting, because regarding time; we have plenty.

If you've been counting the days (and I know you have), you'll know we still have twenty.

And each of them filled with Morning Work and more (oh, so much more).

Because ALL of you can do better - your grades were lower than my golf score!
