Your field day is finally over, back to class you go.

After all, there are about 5 weeks of school left, don't you know?

You all had fun, but I have to say, you really did get beat

in tug-of-war! (I thought they were going to throw you in the street!)

But Coach was nice. He evened things out, with the baton relay.

With only 22 kids, we won that race to finish up the day.

But now, it's back to Morning Work. Do you think you can make it through

a couple of days before we have another break for you?

Take Your Child to Work Day is Thursday. Please don't forget your note.

If I don't have it by tomorrow, you will have missed the boat!

Then you'll be marked absent, unless you show up here.

And if you're here, it's a normal day, with schoolwork, have no fear.

Then on Friday, it's your field trip. You'll be out of school once more.

Leaving me behind with plenty to do. Do you wonder what I stay back fore?
