Man! Starting out today, we have a busy week.

Young Author's books are due this morning and you get to take a peek

at all the other books in class. You can decide which ones are best.

What qualities separate the really good ones from the rest?

On Tuesday, we have Reading Day; a special guest will visit.

They will read a book aloud to you. That's not too bad, now is it?

Wednesday brings us baseball! It's D.A.R.E. day with the Mets.

Maybe, if we're lucky, someone in our class will get

a foul ball or an autograph. But, if I know you guys

you'll just eat lots of junk food (hope your bellies are bigger than your eyes)!

Thursday and Friday are back to normal days.

Well, what passes here for normal, anyways.

But rest assured, despite the constant disruptions we may face

everyday there's Morning Work (to leave it out would be a disgrace).

I will try to keep the rest of our schedule normal, as well.

For example, I'll try to make time, every day, so I can yell!
