As we finish this round of Benchmark "Now that my tests are completed, where do these papers go?" It's a hidden, top secret process; they carefully control every step. But, I think you deserve some insight about how you get what you get. The tests first go to a Homeland Security Lab, in Iowa, near Waterloo. There, electronic spectrographs determine if your pencil was number two. Next, they're whisked to a NASA base, where trained experts take a look through microscopes, making sure you made no stray marks inside your test book. Then, a supersonic transport rockets them off to Berlin. There, bubbling experts make sure each answer's filled in. The final stage of grading your test is the most top secret of all. So don't let this information get out: entire governments could fall! In the last phase, your tests are sent in an armored car, to a zoo, Where chimpanzees assign your grade (while hitting each other with poo). The last part's a bit surprising, but it finally explains, don't you think why sometimes, on rare occasions, a teacher will say "These scores stink!" Of course, you are sworn to secrecy; these facts you must NEVER say. As your reward for not talking, there's no Morning Work today! |
