As the holiday approaches, but before you head out of the door,

I would like to let you know about the things I'm thankful for.

I'm thankful that there still is no FCAT Conduct Test.

Because sometimes your behavior isn't quite the best.

I glad the weather, finally, has turned a little cold.

Quite frankly, all that hot was getting kind of old.

I'm grateful teachers don't have to grade the lessons they assign.

If we did, I do not know where I'd find the time.

Your grades are given randomly, with the "Flunk-O-Matic"

It's a spinner, with all your names. It assigns grades, just like magic!

I give thanks for Mr. Lannon and the School Board, too.

Without them, your teachers just wouldn't know what to do!

Of course, my wife and parents, my siblings and my friends.

And I'm VERY thankful every day at 2:45 when the school day ends.

I know you all are grateful for Grammar Giggles and Morning Math.

You're thankful that for schooldays this week, Tuesday is the last.

We all are very thankful, each in our different ways.

But most of all, we're thankful for the next five days.
