Even though it's Monday Morning, I've news that's sure to please.

There's only two days of school this week and tomorrow's early release!

I know you're anxious for your holiday break, so you can stay home and play.

But I have one simple reminder; it does not start today!

We will actually have schoolwork. Maybe homework too.

We'll have tests and projects; I have lots for you to do!

I'm not giving work JUST to be mean (though that may be part of it).

The work is ALL to help you out; it's for YOUR benefit!

Like Grammar Giggles and Morning Math, the work is carefully designed

to help you with what you need to know. It's your future I have in mind.

And on Thursday when you're giving thanks, for your family and your friends.

You'll be REALLY thankful for your long, five-day weekend.
