There is a storm a-brewin'. Is it coming this-a-way? No one really knows for sure, if they do, they will not say. Every minute it gets stronger as it starts to pick up speed. I hope you have prepared yourself and have everything you need. The key is always be prepared. Make sure that you are ready. You can survive most anything, if you keep your nerves real steady. There's nothing to be scared about, though the threat is very near. Relax and do what you must do and control those pangs of fear. What terrible treachery has you in its path? What horrible calamity threatens you with its wrath? It's NOT Hurricane Ernesto, or a tropical depression. It's just Morning Work, my friends - here is this day's session. The Morning Math is blowing strong, Grammar Giggles raining down. They are both so frightful, folks are leaving town! But you're prepared with pencils, some paper and your head! Because you know that after every storm, there's better times ahead! The Morning Work will pass, like a fast storm, moving through. Yes, the Morning Work will pass and eventually, so might you! |
