The second week is ending. The weekend's very near.

I know you all are thinking "What the heck am I doing here?"

The answer is very simple. It really is quite plain.

You can't begin your weekend until I've tested you again!

Yup! That's right! There's tests today. And yes, there's more than one.

'Cause one test really cannot hold all the joy and all the fun!

I think tests are so much fun, they need a brand new name.

Like "Comprehension Contests" or "America! Show Your Brain!"

You may have a better name - a nom de plume - for tests.

If you do, let's hear it. We may even use the best!

But first, let's do the Morning Math and Grammar Giggles , please.

(Have you ever heard, in all your life, more appropriate names than these?)

Then, review the Math book and study for the Spelling test.

'Cause no matter what we call them, you still must do your best.
