Friday the 13th is supposed to be unlucky, but Friday the 19th is not.

Grumpy old Mr. Mac's gone away and today there's a sub that you've got.

But remember yesterday afternoon, when Mr. Mac had explained

that no matter who was in charge of the room, the rules still stay the same?

In fact, you should act even better. After all, Mr Mac's counting on you.

And I'm expecting a glowing report, after this Friday is through.

In Reading, fire up your handheld and listen to the audio file

of "Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox." Just listen and read for a while.

For Language, there are several questions about vocabulary.

The words all came from the story. Look them up in your glossary.

On Social Studies, you can work with the others that signed up for the same week.

For Science, you'll need your "Owl Pellet Pak." Open it and take a peek.

Of course, I couldn't forget about Math, that would give you a "no-math" attack!

But it seems, there's still something missing. Oh wait! It's just Mr. Mac.

But even though Mr. Mac is not here, you still had better beware.

Even if you can't see him, he has eyes and ears EVERYWHERE!

Maybe he planted a camera! Maybe he hired several spies.

Maybe he really is Superman and is using his telescopic eyes.

It really doesn't matter who is watching. Nor does it matter who's listening in.

'Cause Mr Mac's class will behave so very well, on Monday he'll do nothing but grin!
