Do you hear that sound in the classrooms? What could cause such a din? I think it's the sounds of Village Green, waiting for Spring Break to begin. It's fingers impatiently tapping. Voices groaning and whining. It's SAD! It's the slamming of books and the stomping of feet and the students are nearly as bad. Everyone's ready for Spring Break to begin. It's hard just to get through the day. Lucky for you, there's Morning Work to cheerfully show you the way! Science will put a big smile on your face. The work will make you just grin! Social Studies will be so much fun, your head may actually spin! The Language will put a song in your heart, Math, put a spring in your step. Health will make you jump for joy and Reading will increase your pep! There is one small flaw to this "cheering up" scheme. A glitch in Mr. Mac's plan. There isn't a Writing prompt today. Try to cope without it the best that you can. And if you're not cheerful and happy today, I'll know just what's wrong with you. It's not that you're waiting for Spring Break to start. You just don't have enough to do!
