I never know how to break bad news. I never know what to say.

Should I talk a lot, try to soften the blow? Or, should I say it right away?

How will these little kids react? Will they cry or will they faint?

There MUST be a good way to tell them, but I'm afraid there ain't!

Everyone receives bad news, sometime in their life.

Your life can't be ALL happy. Sometimes there MUST be strife.

How we deal when things go bad, says a lot about who we are.

This may be the worst news you've ever had, in your young lives, so far.

You must be brave. Confront your fears.

Dry those sniffles. Wipe away those tears.

Be the strong men and women that I know you can be.

Life WILL get better, no matter how bad this horrible news may be.

In the road of life, there's twists and bends. Some turns you don't want to take.

But if you are strong, you can go on. Your spirit will not break.

Rely on one another. Together you are strong.

Sometimes bad things happen. It isn't right or wrong.

Remember, when bad things happen. It is OK to cry.

It really doesn't matter if you're a girl or you're a guy.

This is difficult for all of us. It hurts to have to say

I know you'll be disappointed, but there's no Morning Work today.
